Kirovograd
local literary-memorial I.K.Karpenko-Kary museum was opened on the 24th of September 1995
in order to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birthday of famous dramatist, the
founder of Ukrainian professional theatre Ivan Karpovich Karpenko-Kary (Tobilevich). The
museum is situated in the very building where dramatist and his family lived from 1872
till 1883. |
